Very pleased to announce that Rod Brown was voted-in as Devizes RFC's newest Life Member last night at our 2019/2020 AGM.
It's a truly well-deserved honour, after a lifetime of service to The Saddlebacks in just about every role across the Club. We are all absolutely made-up for Rod, and are looking forward to being able to celebrate properly. Well done sir!
Thanks to Chris Jones, our newly-elected President for Rod's nomination, and to John Thompson our immediate past President and a host of others for seconding the nomination during our virtual AGM.
We'll see if we can find a cracking picture of Rod to go with this note and get Chris' nomination "eulogy" up here too. If any of you have a suitable picture of Rod to share, you know my email address...
